We now know that paddle boards are lighter than the wind. A big gust sent the paddle board flying across the deck. And, now Stephen knows how to repair a paddle board! After a few days of repairing and letting it cure, Emily took off. She explored and paddled all around with ease. When it was my turn, the wind picked up, or else I have more wind resistance :) From the start I planned to go up wind, but the wind was so strong it blew me back from the get go. It took all I had to get back to the boat. Next time, I'll wait for smooth seas!! I'll refrain from telling you how Stephen's paddle boarding went. I'll just say, I wish I had been videoing...twice.
